Cookie policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026
In short: this site uses no profiling cookies and no advertising trackers. That is why you see no consent banner — none is required.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites store on a visitor's device. They can keep a site working, remember preferences, or track behaviour for advertising.
2. What we use
Tickerlane sets no profiling cookies, uses no social pixels, shows no advertising and runs no analytics that identify individual visitors.
To know how many people visit the site and which pages they read we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, does not record your IP address in readable form and does not follow you across other sites: it collects only aggregated, anonymous data (visits, page views, country, browser type, loading speed). You cannot be identified from it. Precisely because it uses no cookies and profiles nobody, no prior consent is required for this tool.
We also count, anonymously, a few actions: arriving on the site from a campaign (reading the “utm” parameters in the address, kept only for the duration of the visit), adding an instrument to the Radar and, on the Trader X-Ray, how long the page stays open (in ranges only, e.g. “3–10 seconds”) and whether the example is opened, a report is loaded or someone joins the Pro list. The content of reports never leaves your browser. The site sends to our server (n8n, in the European Union) only: the type of action, the campaign, the page, the language and the instrument symbol; on the Trader X-Ray also the time zone set on your device (for example “Africa/Nairobi”), to know which part of the world visits come from. No cookies, no identifiers, no IP address stored: you cannot be traced.
The site stores only your display preferences in local storage: the language you pick and the light or dark theme. These are technical settings, they stay on your device and are never transmitted. Under Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the Authority's guidelines, such tools require no prior consent.
3. Third-party technical services
| Service | Purpose | Cookies |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Security and page delivery | May set strictly technical cookies for attack protection |
| Cloudflare Web Analytics | Aggregated, anonymous visit statistics | None |
| Anonymous action counter (n8n) | To know whether people arriving from an ad try the Radar | None |
| Google Fonts | Typefaces | None |
4. News images
News thumbnails may be loaded from the original publishers' sites, which are always credited and linked. In that case your browser contacts those servers directly and they may log your IP address under their own policies. When no publisher image is available, the site generates its own cover graphic.
5. How to disable cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. As only technical cookies are involved, the site will keep working normally.
6. If this changes
Should we add analytics or advertising that require consent, this page will be updated and a compliant banner will appear, allowing you to accept or refuse.
